Oxcarbazepine belongs to the group of anticonvulsants and antiepileptic medication. It works via decreasing nerve impulses that can cause seizures. Oxcarbazepine is able to decrease dramatically the level of the sodium in your body which can result in a life-threatening electrolyte disbalance.

If you have missed your dose, take it as soon as possible. If you see it is near the time for the next dose intake, skip the missed dose and return to your regular dosing schedule.
